Privacy

We do not use advertising trackers or Google Analytics. License data comes from public state license files and includes name, license number, type, status, dates, city, county and ZIP. We do not publish street addresses.

Claims: we store the license number, your name, role, business email, phone, website and any document you upload, only to verify and manage the listing. Documents are kept up to 120 days. Ask us to delete your claim data at any time.

Chat: questions you type are sent to our AI provider (xAI) to write the answer, together with matching records from the state data and text from this site. We keep rate-limit counters keyed to a hashed IP address, not the conversation.

ASO checker: we fetch the public URL you enter.

Correction and removal (privacy removal)

To correct or remove a listing, email [email protected] with the listing link. We aim to act within 5 business days. Removing a listing here does not change the official state record.

Newsletter and unsubscribe

If you sign up for Licensed New York updates we store your email, sign-up time, page and consent, and use it only for the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link (/api/unsub), or email [email protected] to be removed.
